Provide technology to support public health functions:  minimally word processing, internet, Meeting management / tracking software
 In conjunction with DCC prepare all updates as requested to SCC.
 Submit all reports according to contract expectations

PHAB Standard 4.2 Promotes the community’s understanding of and support for policies and strategies that will improve the public’s health

PHAB Standard 2.4 Maintain a plan with policies and procedures for urgent and non-urgent communications

Develop a District Communication to provide clear, culturally competent, and understandable information to DCC members, partners, and the community at large for both emergency and non-emergency communications

Implement a process to develop a District Communication Plan for the DCC:

  • Provide clear, culturally competent, and understandable information to DCC members, partners, and the community at large for emergency and non-emergency communications with targeted and unified public health messages
  • Identify responsibilities and expectations for positions interacting with the news media and public, including, as appropriate, any governing entity members. Media include:
  • Print Media: brochures, flyers, factsheets, inserts, newspapers, newsletters
  • Telephony: Conference calls, autodial messages, phone trees, fax
  • Internet-based Media: email, websites, social media such as facebook, twitter
  • Broadcast Media: Radio, Television, Emergency Broadcast
  • Develop a District Communication to provide clear, culturally competent, and understandable information to DCC members, partners, and the community at large for both emergency and non-emergency communications.
